- Proposed cloud architecture (Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB) for a distributed web scraping service, focused on scaling across multiple instances.
- Built a modular Python service with FastAPI to automate data extraction for due diligence and international tax compliance processes, deployed on Azure Container Apps.
- Contributed to the maintenance and security of corporate platforms built on .NET and SQL Server, identifying and mitigating dependency vulnerabilities using Checkmarx and Mend.

uFlex
Telerehabilitation system with a 3-IMU wearable that tracks patient mobility, backed by edge computing so it keeps working without an internet connection.
My role: Wearable design, firmware, backend, and IoT–edge–app chain.
YachAI
Educational app to improve reading comprehension in rural areas: kids answer by voice, a local AI evaluates their responses, and it works without an internet connection.
My role: The edge server running Gemma 4 E2B and its API with the app.
Demy — Mobile Apps
Three native apps for Demy, an academy management platform: admin (Kotlin), teacher (Flutter), and student (Swift), on a shared Spring Boot backend.
My role: Much of the backend, plus modules across all three native apps.
Demy — Web Platform
Administrative management platform for pre-university academies in Peru: enrollment, schedules, courses, and classrooms, with separate views for teachers and admins.
My role: The billing and collections modules, on both backend and web.
About me
I love building things, from tools that simplify other developers' work to solutions with real impact on people's lives. I'm looking to specialize in backend development, software architecture, AI, and cloud solutions.
In every project, I prioritize architecture and good practices over improvisation: I'd rather protect the business domain and isolate external systems through patterns like DDD and clean architecture than solve problems without a clear rationale behind them.
Education
Software Engineering student at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), Lima, Peru. 9th semester, top 1% (ranked 23rd out of 2,500+ students). Expected graduation: mid-2027.
